Class Action Victory: $40M Supreme Court-Approved Settlement Protecting Pension Fund Members’ Rights

We are proud and pleased to announce that after 13 years of litigation, the Israeli Supreme Court approved a settlement agreement in a class action lawsuit in which our firm represented a group of members of a pension fund managed by Meitav Dash. The lawsuit alleged that Meitav Dash charged members management fees in violation of the agreed terms.

Under the settlement, Meitav Dash was required to pay approx. $40 million to class members, including attorney fees. This settlement ranks among the highest settlements achieved in class action lawsuits in Israel. The fact that this settlement ranks among the highest settlements in the field of class action lawsuits in Israel speaks for itself and demonstrates the complexity and importance of the case. This is not only a legal victory but also an achievement that has broad impact on the field and on protecting public rights.

The lawsuit was handled by Attorneys Amir Ivtsan and Chagay Netzer from our firm.
